Contribute to PAC
The Political Action Committee (MLAPAC) raises funds for the campaigns of pro-lodging legislators. If you are interested in donating to the PAC, click here for a form. Due to government regulation, PACs may only accept personal checks up to $500 each year.
State Regulations for Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Recently updated regulations require that lodging establishments (as well as other residential and commercial structures) have carbon monoxide detection systems installed near every potential source of this gas. The devices must be installed in rooms that contain fireplaces, kitchen stoves and any other fixture or appliance that burns fossil fuels. Whether those devices are battery-operated or hard-wired systems is clearly outlined in the regulation. For more information about these regulations please visit:
