The Massachusetts Lodging Association is the member state association partner of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) which represents the lodging industry on a national level. Together, we represent more than 11,000 properties and 1.4 million rooms and provide a unified voice on the state and national level in efforts to maintain and improve the hospitality and lodging industry.
The MLA has a wide variety of active property members, which include hotels, motels, resorts, inns and bed and breakfasts, comprising more than 35,000 rooms across the Commonwealth. MLA industry membership includes businesses that supply products and services to the lodging industry, such as food, amenities, and property management companies. In addition, a number of colleges and universities that have hospitality programs are members of the MLA, as well as corporate members that represent companies which own or manage properties.
