​The Massachusetts Lodging Association hosts a variety of events for its members, celebrating four signature annual events. In addition, leadership, local events and webinars are held throughout the year.

​Annual Business Meeting
Held in January, the annual business meeting provides a recap to our members on the events, accomplishments and achievements of the year, ranging from advocacy updates to fiscal status of the association.

Hospitality Golf Tournament
This event takes place in May and kicks off summer as a fundraiser for the MLA’s education foundation (MLAEF).  With an abundance of networking and socializing the golf tournament provides an opportunity to connect with peers while supporting the very important mission of MLAEF.

​Stars of the Industry
The hospitality industry is one that takes pride in delivering the best in service to our guests, our co-workers and to the community.  Held in the spring, Stars of the Industry honors the those individuals that works so hard to contribute to our industry in an awards ceremony which celebrates their achievements in the previous year.  

The selected winners are submitted to the American Hotel & Lodging Association as national candidates representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the national “Stars of the Industry” awards. 

​​Outlook 
In the summer, Outlook is our forecast for the coming fiscal year which helps lodging establishments plan for changes in the state and nation which will affect the industry. Various industry professionals and experts provide valuable information relevant to  both properties and companies to help plan for and anticipate upcoming business trends

Emerging Professionals
Designed for up and coming managers looking to network with their peers, this event help support and grow the next generation of leaders in our industry.
