Advocacy
The MLA protects the rights and interests of the Massachusetts lodging industry at the local, state and federal levels.

Marketing Resources
We can help your property increase business by offering low-cost marketing opportunities to promote your property such as logo advertising, online banner advertising and event sponsorship.

The MLA continually looks for opportunities to partner with other organizations and associations to provide property members with direct links to qualified, receptive audiences. 
 
Education Resources
The MLA provides a wide variety of educational resources and programming to develop a qualified hospitality workforce. Included in this statewide effort are coursework and internship programs for both high school and college students.
 
We also offer local and national seminars and workshops throughout the year. These seminars address current issues and training in every department and for virtually every position level. 
 
Legal Resources
Members can receive answers to common legal questions from MLA's retainer attorney – while we can’t guarantee 24/7 correspondence, we strive to answer your questions and get back to you as quickly as is feasible. Members also have the national resources of the American Hotel and Lodging Association to draw from for answers to any number of questions.
 
The MLA represents the Massachusetts lodging industry at the state government level on legislative issues concerning the industry. Through our AH&LA membership, we also provide federal representation. 
 
Networking Events
MLA members are invited to attend MLA events throughout the year, including the Stars of the Industry Awards Gala, Outlook lodging forecasts, educational seminars, Hospitality Cup Golf Tournament, and "Meet Your Legislator" events.
 
MLA Committees
The MLA has several committees focused on: industry partnership, marketing, membership, government affairs and education. Any member is qualified to serve on a committee, for more information on this please contact our main office.
